I get what you're saying about the 2nd challenge, but IMO, that was more obviously a catch than the first. He got both feet down, then his hip hit the ground, and as he continued to go down, he had the ability to make a "football move" by turning and trying to extend the ball.
I think they were both catches. That's why I was surprised he challenged again, since the first one was overturned. Just goes back to what you were saying about the NFL not knowing what is/isn't a catch anymore.
He didn't go to LSU, did he? Either way, I always pull for former Tigers, except when they play the Saints. Since there's no style points in the NFL to affect rankings, the best case scenario is for them both the have great individual games, but the Saints still win.
He went 2 LSU but was never medically cleared. LSU honored his scholarship after he got hurt in hs. Classy move btw
