Saints with a 1st & 10 at their own 7 yard line with 3:50 to go in the game. 2nd & 9 with 3:15 to go... 1st & 10 at the 17... INT by the Bucs at the Saints 18...:dis:
Saints stop the Bucs with only using one TO. Bucs will try a 35 yard FG with 2:00 to go. The Saints will have one TO remaining when they get the ball back. If you're the #1 rated offense and have a MVP QB...let's see a game winning drive. If you win...you're still in. If you lose...you're finished for the year.
Saints with a 1st & 10 at their own 27 yard line. 1:50 to go... Colston drops the ball at the 37 yard line. 2nd & 10...1:45 to go... INT...ballgame! :dis:
GAME OVER SAINTS SEASON IS OVER...:dis: This team needs to finish 6-10...NOT 7-9, 8-8, 9-7, or 10-6. End the season now...find someone to trade for Reggie Bush...find some help in the secondary...reassess your coaches...and stop wasting draft choices.
Peyton is a ****ing moron and I think we really need to start shopping for an OC that will stand up to him when he is calling stupid sh!t or a better head coach. How about that stat that Fox showed Peyton is 0-17 when trailing after the 3rd how sh!tty is that!
You would think with an offense that has the potential to score as often and as quickly as ours, we'd come back from a few deficits. The fact that we haven't doesn't speak too well for Sean Payton. There were a few calls today that had me yelling at the radio (driving back from Shreveport). We had 2nd and 2 on the first drive. 2nd down, we run with Thomas... pick up a yard. Good call. 3rd down, you throw it?! I suppose not a terrible call, but I certainly would have tried to pound forward for the first. go for it on 4th, and you try an end around?? Why are you trying for homerun calls when all you need is a yard, and you know how important getting on the board is?? I would have run the ball up the middle if not twice, at least once on 3rd and 4th. Then he did the same thing on the next series after the fumble recovery. Trying to pick up 3rd and short through the air. THe other thing I'm having a hard time with is how bad Brees looked today. He was throwing behind receivers, into double coverage... On the INT that set up the winning kick, he didn't even see the guy coming across Colston's route. I don't know. He's a great QB, and he's allowed to have a bad game on occasion, but he was making decisions on par with Jarrett Lee earlier this year, and that's just out of character.:dis:
