The weather is crap here in orlando. We almost went to this game today but after thinking about how horrible the fans were last year and knowing the weather was going to be bad we decided against it.
I'm glad to see Bush back but I wish we wouldn't waste downs handing him the ball. He's great at returning punnts and catching the ball in the slot or out of the backfield but he's not and NFL RB. After three years you would think he would realize the NFL isn't the Pac-1. You can't run backwards and side to side. I wish we could've had Drew Brees QBing the Tigers this year.
Special teams make a mistake allowing the ball to hit the ground pinning the Saints deep. A miscommunication, penalty, and dropped pass by Bush and the Saints punt again. After a great punt they allow the guy to run 50 yards. If this team wants to make the playoffs, they need to pull their heads out pretty quick. The defense is actually playing pretty well. Too bad the offense and special teams haven't shown up yet. :dis:
Shanle is just not getting it done. How many times does Garcia have to run up the middle before you keep an eye on him?
We're so fortunate to have Drew Brees. If we had a leader like him on defense, this team could contend. Hopefully we can find a CB, LB, and S this off-season. The new K and P have played well. Another kickoff through the endzone.
They say that calls have a way of balancing out over time. If so the Saints are overdue for several calls in this game.
Jason David's one week of fame is over. He's back to being torched like usual. Saints offense having trouble moving the ball now that Reggie Bush is back. They're once again wasting plays trying to get him involved and he's dropping passes and running backwards like usual. The Saints either need to figure out how to use Bush effectively or trade him to acquire some secondary help. The offense is quite efficient without Bush. He's making way too much money to be an occasional receiver and punt returner.
