Hopefully NO Saints player will participate in the Pro Bowl, so they can be in Miami preparing for a different Bowl.

Karl Dunbar just given credit for Minnesota's good defensive line.

Congrats to the Saints on the honor of being selected.

WTF was the NFL thinking making it the week before the Superbowl? Stupidest idea in the history of stupid ideas. Nobody from either SB team will actually participate. At least I hope not... Can you imagine having to explain to the world that Drew Brees is out for the Superbowl with a broken finger from a Pro Bowl injury?

Surprised to see Stinchcomb on the roster and Will Smith absent. Very happy to see Vilma on the roster. His tackles have dropped off, but his impact has not. I think that Carl Nicks should be there as well.

We were fortunate to get Nicks in the 5th round. He dropped due to an off field incident but it wasn't anything major. He should be a monster for years. The O-line has missed Brown all season but done pretty well.

After previous contract situations I'm somewhat glad that Smith and Grant weren't selected. They're paid quite well but haven't always performed as such. I don't want their agent having additional leverage with a Pro Bowl selection.

Vilma has been a great addition the past two seasons. Sharper has been a great addition for this year. With the team playing so well and having key positions filled with stars, we should be able to continue to attract quality free agents. I'm just curious what will happen with an uncapped year followed by a possible lockout. The Saints are finally a top notch contender. I would hate to see their opportunity pass due to labor issues.

    Know what's really stupid?

The Saints have had the #1 offense in the NFL for the last three years running and they've just one person in the Pro Bowl: Drew Brees.

    Can you say M-V-P?

Jahri Evans is the story here. Dude came from a small college and now is a Pro Bowl selection first teamer. He was manhandled against Dallas, so he better show up against Carolina. Peppers is probably licking his chops after seeing Dallas film and now will be motivated with Jahri's PB selection.

Except that they won't face each other. Peppers is an end; he'll be head-to-head against Stinchcomb or Bushrod, depending on which side he lines up.
