We were sloppy coming off the bye week which is always a possiblty. This is not the same ole Saints. Its funny how at the first sign of trouble the bandwagon starts getting lighter, and with that lighter bandwagon in tow the Saints will beat the holy hell out of Tampa. Colston provided some great high points, not to get ahead but this kid is gonna be something special for this team hopefully for a long time. The tackle on Bush did not seem all that bad, so dont expect the ankle injury to be that bad. All in all not a great performance during the first half but this team did not lay down and die like I have seen time and time again. And I am thrilled about that. Just didnt get the breaks today.
Actually the saints didn't play that poorly. We drove the ball on a great defense and really got unlucky to turn the ball over. Rarely do you see so many tipped interceptions in one season, more less the whole game. It took alot of luck and the stars aligned for the ravens to beat us. I would love to see what would happen if we replayed them next week. I doubt it would be the same result.
Today really felt like it was just one of those "not our day" games. Take the Baltimore TD right before the half. If Jason Craft doesn't tip the pass, Scott Fujita makes the interception and we go in down 21-7. Hopefully we'll be able to shake this one off and play a good game at Tampa, because Tampa looks like a much better team with Gradkowski at quarterback.
My post wasn't intended as a shot at these Saints. And, since I still only have one foot on the bandwagon, I'm not adding that much weight to it.
I wasnt talking about the post on here, I listened to the Point After Show and there were already people calling in, throwing in the towel and crap. Bobby just kept hanging up on them.
Agreed with you on the assessment of the Saints game. Tampa scored a whopping 3 points today. This is a MUST win for the Saints or we could be for a long slide.
