I actually think he helped SP with the game plan. He obviously knows the Dallas defense, how to exploit it, and where the weaknesses (everywhere?) were? And he knows how to gameplan for the Dallas O for the same reasons; having gone against them in practice everyday for the length of time he was there. I usually don't bet on the Saints unless it's too good to pass it; like this game was.
I was bummed Watson dropped the TD pass just before that, which would have given Brees 5 TD passes, which would extend his NFL record to 9 games with 5 or more TD passes in a game. He gets a concussion on top of that, so that play really really sucked.
