    i really did not like the look of the Carolina long TD run. But it looks like the Saints D has settled and and is playing tough now. Hopefully we can put up a full game.

    I hope so. Defense has been the Saints' weak spot.

    What happened? I thought our defense recovered a fumble in their end zone for a TD (Hargrove). This is such a meaningless and worthless game, I'm watching it kinda haphazardly while I cook and haven't been paying much attention at all, but I thought I saw us score a defensive TD.

    Somebody fill me in.

    The QB was ruled down by contact. They punted we didn't move on that drive.

    It was overruled in the review booth. He was ruled down because contact was made by the Saints.

    I really like the way the defense has been playing this first half. It keeps giving the Saints great field position, but the offense has not been able to capitalize on it. I have to figure if Brees were playing that would not be the case.
