I doubt NoLimit cares about his prediction since he was most likely wrong and happy about the Texans game today.

YOU KNOW THAT'S RIGHT! :hihi:

The Saints are looking more and more like they were SUPPOSED to look last year.

You know, we've bad so far, but I think it's funny to read how many Saints fans, after TWO GAMES, are already giving up on this team and saying we are the worst ever. Yes, we sucked bad today and we sucked bad last week. Perhaps these two losses are wake up calls that the rest of the NFL has our number this year.

I agree. It's certainly much too early to write off this season, but what disturbs me is the absolute lack of fire that the team has had in the first two games. Last year's team was one you couldn't quit watching because no matter what was going on in the game, you knew they'd get back in it. Hopefully they bring some sense of urgency to the Monday Night game next week.

No doubt, there is cause for concern. I think the team just needs a dose of reality and a home game in the Dome to get them back in the swing of things. It's never easy opening the season with two road games, regardless of how good you are.

The Saints have multiple problems, starting with the O-line. The O-line is HORRIBLE. Brees has no time at all, getting pressured way to much.

    2. Brees is not nearly as accurate as he was last year. It looks like he's trying to hard.

    3. Playcalling is DREADFULL. Payton is not as creative as he was last year. Not throwing deep at all. The plays for Reggie are pathetic. When Deuce is in there, Karney is the FB, and we get pretty good yards. Then he puts in Reggie, takes Karney out, and uses 2 TE set. As soon as Reggie gets the ball, 2 or 3 defenders right there to make the play. Payton's not using Reggie as a decoy like last year which worked well.

    4. Our defense, if you want to call it that. D-line gets NO PRESSURE at all on QB. Linebackers look clueless. Secondary is just plain AWFUL.

I don't know why we're off to a slow start, but something needs to happen fast. Good thing the NFC totally sucks, cause Saints are still in it. I just hope this ain't Jim Haslett all over again.....One dream season then CRAP.

Here's my thinking: the Saints had to lose these first two games to get away from last years success. No longer can they just rest on their laurels and get everything handed to them, like they apparently though was gonna happen. Now they have faced some adversity and have to climb out of the hole and they now have locker room material with everyone talking about "what's wrong with the Saints."

All-in-all we end up 11-5 losing in the championship game again.

I'm mainly curious where islslstl is to explain to us how great Brees and Payton still are after this barnburner of a start.
