Payton has officially been reinvented. Through 3 quarters, Saints have 228 yds rushing, 179 passing. Brees with no TD passes, but a TD run. I don't believe we've ever had a game in the Payton era where we ran for more yards than we passed, and we aren't likely to throw much more today.
Saints have 256 rush yards, which I believe is a single game record. Can't find the true record, but its the most since they had 250 vs MIA in '86. Ingram and Kamara both over 100, but they started feeding Edmunds on the last series. Didn't go well, and they may end up giving up the record.
But not a record, record is 307 vs Rams in '81. But 6 rush TD is a record. Also first game with 2 100 yard rushers and a 100 yard receiver
I wonder how many Saints fans would have predicted a win with Brees throwing for under 200 and no (passing) TDs? Not many
