even if that is their real team, which it isnt, they have the almighty falcons, bucs, and panthers to worry about.

    theyll be okay.

Aaron Brooks would have led the saints to at least 2 more wins last season, right clair?

Last night meant nothing. Payton runs very basic offensive plays and the defense the same. Just wants to see who will make the team. Last year they looked the same.

Last year at this time we all thought we would suck! You never see very flashy plays in preseason. Mike Tomlin looked to be playcalling alot more aggressively (who cares in the preseason). I also noticed that Pitt blitzed alot early in the game (who the hell does that in preseason). Good thing is, Coach Payton said after the game that he knows they played bad and it will be fixed.

sorry clair but all i did was state the obvious and the same thing that saban has stated numerous times in the media. he told his entire staff, the night before he accepted the fins job, he was staying at lsu . of course mr. money bags, wayne h. visited $saban twice at the btr airport before he finally accepted the gig. being a young aspiring journalist at lsu, you should know this...

now what's your excuse for sucking off aaron brooks 24/7 back in the day?

brooks's career touchdown to INT ratio is 123 TD 92 INT
Brees's career touchdown to INT ratio is 106 TD 64 INT

i am not going to say brooks is as good as brees or anything, beause that is just stupid.

all i am saying and all i have ever said is that the root of the saints problem was far, far deeper than at QB.

if you look at most bad teams, the QB normally has a horrible TD/INT ratio, which is why the team is bad.

the saints were bad for other reasons. sure, brooks's mistakes were big, too, but they improved last offseason in a lot of other ways than at QB.

Yes it was preseason and it didn't matter but after watching the game it was obvious that playing man to man on the outside is just going to lead to disaster. We don't have man to man shut down corners, and that was proven last year when the games counted and in the offseason we added a corner who was good in zone coverage not man! So how have our problems been solved, and why shouldn't I worry about our D-backs. I saw craft, mckenzie, thomas, and david all get straight up toasted. Thats not the team choosing not to unveil all of their packages, that is simply our corners not being able to handle what is and will be asked of them.

Well, they did look a lot better Friday. Didn't win the game but the offense seemed to be clicking better. It's good to see improvement.
