Saints looked like the team of old last night. Hope it's another preseason like last year when the team stunk it up for the no count games and turned it on during the season.

Can't believe this is the first post about last night's game. Must have really been of little interest to everyone. Of course, I stopped watching half way through the 2nd quarter.

I watched every second just wasn't much in the mood to talk about it! Plus I try and not get myself worked up over preseason because it really means nothing!

    Its preseaon.
Colts went 1-3 in pre-season last year

Cowboys in their glory years lost every pre-season game.

Also Drew Brees only threw 6 passes, granted he sucked with those six going 1-6, deuce didn't play at all, and Reggie only ran twice. I wouldn't put too much stock into it.

i would like to see stats on preseason wins correlating to regular season wins. i wouldnt be suprised if preseason losses are good, perhaps because teams that are confident with solid starters have more time to play bums in preseason to see if they might stick.

Good point. Not much play from the them. How long was the starting O-Line in?

    Saints preseason 2006 sucked also...

I still think it's going to be a great year.

Absolutely pointless, I didn't even watch.

Means NOTHING unless somebody goes down hurt.

Glad I'm not a season ticket holder and actually hafta pay for that home game garbage.

Last year the offense could outscore what the defense gave up. From what I saw of our cornerback play last night, we better be ready to score 40 points a game.

I know it's only preseason, and the Hall of Fame game to boot, much earlier than a regular preseason game. Hope Peyton can work his magic at the end of preseason like he did last year.

And wasn't it Pittsburgh that spanked us in the Hall of Fame game in 83? I guess we are on the same 25 year rotation with them.

I sent a buddy of mine an e-mail joking about this game just to get him going. Unfortunately, he's a knowledgeable football fan, so it didn't work.

do you remember preseason, and hell, the 1st game of the regular season last year?

I remember the talking heads after preseason saying the Saints were maybe going ot be the worst team ever.

to make a long story short, that game means nothing.

until you watch a game where the saints are running "their stuff", then don't worry.

by "their stuff", I mean moving bush around in motion, etc... etc...

we say a real watered down system last night.
