Saints are officially in the playoffs..

    The Tampa loss was not that big a deal. They were playing well at the time, and that was the day Payton went down, and I'm sure that caused a lot of turmoil.

    The loss to St. Louis, however, will go down as the single biggest upset of this season, and tops anything I can remember over the last few years. No excuse for losing that one.

    I remember once in the late 80's when the Redskins were good, they were something like 13-0 and playing the 0-13 Cowboys. The Cowboys ended up winning the game, but finished 1-15. The Redskins won the Superbowl. Go figure..

    The Niners beat them 48-3 the week before and they are 0-7 since that game.

    I said playing well at the time. The win over us made them 4-2 and tied for the division lead. Obviously they've gone in the tank since then.
