Surprised non of the talking heads have much to say about the Saints FA pick ups. None of them list the Saints as one of the teams making big moves. IMO what the Saints have done puts them right there in the running for best FA moves by team. Not only have htye kept the ones they wanted but they have loaded up a previously weak positions and improved at others. I mean the DL went from one of the worst to one of the best almost entirely on FA pick ups.

    They are.

They are all over the Saints and the Eagles FA pick ups.

Have any links? Because other than saying they picked up player x I'm finding nothing saying how good the Saints are doing in free agency.

I'm too lazy to go find specific links, but I promise you that the talking heads are giving the Saints and Eagles MAD props for their moves in FA.

If you want links, for starters you can simply go back and look at post #'s 52, 53, 54, 57, and 58 of this thread.

And you can join Twitter and follow Chris Mortensen, Adam Schefter, Colin Cowherd, John Clayton, NFL Live, and all of them and you can follow them as they say it.

"The rich get richer" is a common phrase used when the Saints sign another FA this season.

Every show I've watched and the web sites like espn and foxsports don't even list the saints in the top 5. Hard to believe.

I've been watching the NFL network and its the same thing. Barely a whisper about the Saints. Maybe a blurb about an FA signing, but no one's really picking them as a challenger in the NFC. That's ok. Kind of prefer it that way and am very excited about this year's team.

every list i've seen has the saints as a challenger in the NFC. most of them came out after the Draft, and haven't been updated since free agency began (they'll update them at the end of FA). but as of now, i doubt the Saints drop too far, it's not like we got worse. sure the Eagles might pass us, but who have the Falcons got in FA? also, have the Packers been doing well in FA? if not, they'll drop some. but yeah, i saw NFL network, and they praised how we got Franklin and then moved on to focus on other teams because they had bigger issues to deal with than we did

One of the press releases from yesterday says that the Saints signed 2 former 1st round picks.

One of those is OL Alex Barron. This guy was tied for the lead in the league in holding calls in 2009. He was 3rd highest in the league in his 5 year carred with St. Louis. They dumped him off to Dallas where he had 3 calls in 1 game that lead to a loss. His last one nullified a touchdown on the last play of the game that would have led to a win.

I believe in the genius of Sean Payton but this one
