my .02, with how poorly the saints have use the FA in the past (yes there are some exceptions of course) I can't see how this could be a bad thing if for no other reason then to help train a younger player down the road and show some leadership now. PLus as tb3 said this guy is still able to play! I hope we do get him, I like him as a player and would be proud to call him a Saint!

not from texas at all. I am from Cajun Country. When I was a child, the Saints sucked and the Cowboys were dominant, so I watched the team that was always on tv and took a liking to them. (my father was also a huge fan). I liked the Magic as a kid, so I took a fondness to T-Mac. The way they handled his departure was a joke, so I moved to the Rockets with him.
ok cool. i'm always interested to learn why someone roots for certain teams. and i'm especially interested when someone roots for an out of market team. i have a friend who's from la. who's a astros and cowboys fan. i also have a cousin who was born and raised in N.O. and loves the saints but always cheers for the cowboys too. i guess i'm in the same boat with you and t-mac as i usually pull for shaq's team's and when i was younger i was a dominique wilkins fan so i followed the hawks even after he left.
