Enough said. I also think he ends his career at UA.

Not even a stadium with a hole in the roof.

I'll have a full head of hair before you see Slick Nick working for Jethro Jones.

Like Texas Tiger, I also live in Dallas. 24/7 coverage of the 'boys now that baseball is over. There is no way Jerry hires Saban for now. He is going to give the job to "Garrett Top", his current interim coach. He knows that he can work with (read 'control') him.

I used to think that Nick would retire at 'bama, but now I'm not so sure. If he leaves, I think he goes to Penn State. I think his "bit" is to restore fallen programs.

LSU - no NC for 45 years. Nick comes along and presto.
Bama - SEC also ran for 10+ years (an eternity in the elephant world). Nick steps in and presto.
Penn State - JoePa is gonna run that thing in the dirt (no recruits want to go there). Competition in the SEC is off the chart....Nick bolts for greener pastures to fix the Nittany Lions.

    JMHO.

If Jerry gives Saban his own golf course, he's gone.

:geaux: Would that be part of "the process" or just "the want" to have Satan in Dallas? :hihi: :LSU231:

I don't think the Cowboys open up the bank account for anyone in Saban's perceived pay grade until after there is a new collective bargaining agreement.

Garrett would be so much more affordable until that dust settles.

Plus you have to keep in mind that The University of Alabama is absolutely the best football job in America. Successful coaches are beloved. Talent is supreme and the dynamics are such that come game time he and Bama literally morph into, yes I'll say it again, "The Rolling Stones."
