My guess is (and this is pure speculation) that Saban is waiting for Joe Pa to retire, and will take over Penn St. Think about it;...

    1. It's relatively close to where he's from, about 3 hours
    2. Penn St. has a great football history
    3. He would be out of the SEC
    4. He would own the Big 10

I don't know any of Nick's relatives, or his electrician or his yard guys, so this is only a GUESS.

We should hope he goes. Saban is the new Bear at Alabama, Miles is the new, hapless Cholly Mac that can't beat him. It's the sad truth. History does repeat.

Lou Holtz says that Notre Dame should go after Patricia Carroll. Says the Domers should go after coaches even thought they may say "no."

... the gumps would all be on youtube drunk, calling him a homo...

...Kinda like the Saban haters that wear purple and gold and live in LA. Saban is one of the best coaches in college football, and if LSU could afford to pay him to come back you would LOVE him til death. Stop hatin and start the "Get Nick Back" fund. Wouldn't that be better for LSU and their fans?

it would make me giggle like a lil girl too.

i think this is the general consensus.

i've been saying this for a while also.

however i don't know how many of you know of charles barbre (the rooster) who does a local BR sports talk show on sunday nights but this is what he said in his weekly email (not that a rumor is any more credible when a member of the media passes it along)

i personally don't think nick would move again so early b/c i think he's learned from his mistakes but who knows.

honestly of course just like in miles' case (no matter how many of you disagree) if he wins the SEC cg and plays for a nat'l title, i think he wouldn't go.

losing the game though might help ND's chances.

This sounds similar to the information that I posted in the beginning of the thread, I didn't have a money amount though.

I doubt that saban would leave. I doubt Sexton would need to float saban's name to get more money for his client. It seems ingrained in the pr machine that is bammer that they need to have if not the highest paid coach, close to that number. It is just another marketing tool.

I heard he's headed to Louisville, FSU and Notre Dame. He will most likely coach all three schools at the same time.

    Glad to hear it.
That just means he probably isn't going to stay at Bama.
    I wouldn't be too confident if I was you!:thumb:
