If it had happened in Arkansas would Nick have said the cops were just disgruntled pigs?

Don't you dare question or criticize the Imp. His judgement is infallible and his word is final.

To question the motives of the police he is ripping a page from current events to fit his narrative that his players are being unfairly treated by the law and the media. He is an opportunist and scum. In his view, only Nic Saban's Football Record Matters.

As recently as May 12th coach Saban dismissed 5 star OL Charles Baldwin, #2 JUCO in the country, after only one semester at Alabama. It was for undisclosed violations. Living testimony that he will do what he believes is best for the program with a different outcome.

After one semester? He was never really a part of the team before he was kicked off. Coaches have their examples to try to keep everyone else in line.

Look, Saban could have played this situation a different way. He may still have been taken to task but to criticize the police is a shit move.

I'm not defending actions and emotions that aren't mine. But this was a lot more Finebaum and Saban then Monroe police. Finebaum should have framed the question better than trying to take the he-man approach. Finebaum's follow up question to Saban smacked like he was talking to tammy from auburn. Two egos in a peeing contest pretty much does it for me.

Best for the program meaning that the same rules do not apply to All-Americans. Les dismissed an All American Heisman trophy finalist for smoking pot just a few of years ago. Same rules for everybody on the team. Previously he dismissed a five-star starting quarterback for the same thing and it cost us two 8-win seasons.

How many All-Americans has Saban dismissed or suspended?

All-Americans? What kind of pool size is that? Me thinks you are trying to hard.
However, some kids I can think of that went aloha at Bama in the Saban reign.

    Tyre Jones - dismissed 4*
    Tyler Hayes - dismissed 4*
    Eddie Williams - dismissed 5*
    Brent Calloway - dismissed 5*
D J Pettway - dismissed 4* (only player to make it back after JUCO)
    Charles Baldwin - dismissed 5*

Bro...I don't want to put words in anybody's mouth, but I think a lot of us may be saying he picks and chooses spots for discipline. Seldom, if ever, in life are things completely black and white. Most everything is some shade of gray. I don't think Saban is ALWAYS a dirt bag who only cares about winning. Winning at the expense of being a right and decent human being. In key situations, however, I believe that to be the case. He may be an excellent father and husband and general good man in most of the really important areas in life. Maybe. I do not personally believe his character is in the same galaxy as Les Miles. I say again, I wish wins and losses were based on character. Les would be undefeated...esp vs. Saban. Again, my opinion.
