Red, I just don't see how Meyer can go through another season NOT having an established RB. They flashed a stat up in the Michigan game and Percy Harvin and Tebow made up over 85% of the yards in that game and I think close to 80% of the offensive production for the year. The SEC is too good for a two man show to march through the SEC. I thought Meyer would of made a harder push for a rb.

Any team that is one-dimensional can be stopped. Witness Florida's three losses last year. They have to have a serious running game in the SEC and if Tebow is all they've got, heaven help them. Running backs go down a lot in the SEC. Tebow is not Superman and he risks serious injury if he's the leading rusher this year.

    E. Moody, the kid who transferred from USC. :thumb:

But still, they only took one this year, no depth.

Well, I know if they don't find a rb that can take some of the heat off of Tebow Meyer might be setting that team up for a HUGE letdown. I know Tebow is strong and "tough", but there's only so much he can take.

Yeah, like Red said, rb's go down often in the SEC. The spread is a hot item but you still got to be able to pound the ball in the SEC and preferably NOT with your QB. :insane:

    Okay. I'll do just that.

Hey Bama. Congratulations on going 6-6 (3-4 SEC, 0-1 Sun Belt), and the Independence Bowl victory. This is something you can take pride in for many, many years to come.

And Congratulations to Nick $atan, you only have to win 7 games per year for each of the next three years to top Mike (same quality record, less than 1/2 the price) Shula's 4 year record.*

*Of course Shula did it while inheriting probation that limited his scholarships.

We luvs us some Saban and Bama talk here on TigerForums.

You might say we is : "SabanObsessed"

We should really have a special forum called SabanTalk so that we can all get up to speed right away with the latest gossip on SABAN here on TF. You know, sometimes you don't want to waste time reading about LSU when you want to talk about SABAN.

    So, how bout it, Brett?

Could you please set up a "SabanTalk" section of the forum so that we don't have to waste time reading about LSU when we want to talk about SABAN?

    We luvs us some SABAN.

. . . and a SABAN emoticon . . . we need one, Brett. You know it . . . I know it . . . and everybody who likes to talk about SABAN knows it.

    :nope:
