Actually I said the potential is there for it to get nasty and I hope the staff in Baton Rouge puts controls in place to deal with IF it happens. Making the assumption that "it won't get that bad" and NOT planning for it is a disaster waiting to happen.
As long as yall don't bring any dang red and white flower seeds we will be civil, you do that though and it all over with but the crying!
The last post on page one of this thread by "LesIsmore" could be one indication. At last year's Indy Bowl there was a local radio host that was stirring the pot by encouraging as many LSU fans to go to the game make the Bama fan's experience "a bad one" and that's putting it mildy and it was all because of the Saban/LSU mini-homecoming. Overall no one died or lost any limbs but there were WAY WAY too many altercations. I know there were two instances of people being escorted out in handcuffs. Too many to put a number on of altercations outside the stadium before the game, and this was when the two teams weren't even playing each other. Buddy of mine from Mobile said he couldn't believe the animosity that was displayed at that game, a game that the two fan bases that were at each other's throats weren't even playing that day and idiots from both fanbases were gladly taking part. There's no place for crap like that. And this was at a game NOT in BR, NOT against each other. So I doubt it will be any milder come November, when we're actually playing each other, in BR (the REAL HOMECOMING for Saban) and it's a conference game. But that's just a hunch.
