He said he knew with Michigan State's tough run defense and this was going to be on Coker's shoulders.

It's not too late to fire Les Miles, people. We're dealing with a head coach who wanted to pay substantially more money to a defensive coordinator that wasn't worth shit. That's the state of affairs we're dealing with.

    Time to hire Tom Herman.

    Fuck Les Miles.

Saban got lucky with that dumb philosophy tonight! Should've used the popular "run into a brick wall all night" philosophy. That always works!!

Imagine that, actually formulating a plan and executing that plan.

Sucks having a head coach who is 2 of the 3 sidekicks from the wizard of oz. at least he has a heart. Maybe no stones anymore, but some heart.

They also used their Heisman Trophy winning, All-American stud running back as a decoy!

When Bama's D plays like that, I don't care what the game plan is on offense. As long as they don't turn it over and commit a bunch of back-breaking penalties, they are probably gonna win. Thing is, if Mich St. was having success on offense, I believe Saban would've gone back to Henry if necessary. He not only tailors a game plan specific to his opponent, he changes it in-game if needed.

While watching the game I was thinking pretty much the same thing, while being naturally conservative Saban understands you need diversity to win. Like him or not Kiffin is a brilliant play caller, he really keeps the D on their heels. Bama is not a great offensive team, they're just well coached and win with an exceptional D.
