    Watching the Arkansas-Alabama game.

They are making Mallett look like he doesn't belong on the field today.

You gotta give him his props. Best defensive mind in the game possible (along with Belichick and Parcells).

He certainly was a great defensive coach for us. Got all our cornerbacks able to cover one on one opening up for all his insane blitzes.

laughable. People keep talking about Saban being a "defensive genius" but he's laid plenty of defensive eggs. Hell, Utah's offense just raped him a few games ago. As for comparing Saban to a great NFL coach... laughable... remember, that was Saban's dream... to be a great NFL coach... how did that work out?

Yeah, during Saban's time at LSU, nobody trashed Hookfin for how he seemed to get burned on every play (and I loved Hookfin).

Gump defense is pretty sick. I think they lost one of their big dogs to injury earlier though. Not sure who but he was a main player.

Bama walking all over Ark. Also have the refs in their back pocket. Not sure it's necessary here so their funding pool for the SEC referee committee wasn't entirely needed this week.

I didn't follow Saban at Miami so I don't know how good/bad his D at Miami was. Do you care to back up your claims with any facts? I'd assume that if Saban showed any promise as a good NFL defensive coach, he'd wouldn't have sold out Miami and himself.

There was one pass interference on Arky that was bogus but I didnt notice the refs play much of a factor and I pretty much watched the whole game after ours ended.

The biggest weakness I see for the gumps is their offensive line. Outside of that they look impressive as hell. Richardson is a horse at RB and they definitely found a QB to replace sarah jessica parker wilson.
