Spot on. Same way we would if we had won in their position. You always remember the good regardless as long as you win. And the bad when you lose. Human nature.

And let's stop with the moral victories. Ugh

Anything for the betterment of LSU. Like tyrann and his drug problem I still wanted him to win. Heisman is a popularity contest. Always has been but worse now. On the field is only half of it.

Tyrann was easily the best player in the nation last year.

On our team maybe. Rg3 and luck were legit and the top 2 imo. They got this one right.

Disagree, Luck is a great quarterback, RG3 great quarterback, Tyrann was a great football player. He did it on D and on Special teams, he tackled, forced turnovers, covered kicks, scored touchdowns, broke the will of opponents. Luck did his business in the PAC 10, RG3 in the big 12, Tyrann did it in the SEC. Nothing anyone can say will ever change the fact that the Heisman is supposed to go to the best football player. That man was Tyrann Mathieu last season.

TM was suspended for a game last season, and LSU beat a rival team into the ground. If RG3 had missed any game on their schedule, they would have lost by 30.

And? You could say the same thing about a bunch of other players on various teams. How about McElroy? What about Barkley? How about Geno Smith or Darin Thomas? Why is that ever an issue? Who was the best football player? Not the best qb, not the best rb, football player.

I thought I wouldn't have to remind him of the missed game. It's never been strictly for the best player. Politics

But I think rg3 meant the most to his team and was the best player.

We aren't talking about what that ridiculous award has turned into. We are talking about who was the best player in college football. You could have removed a shit ton of players from their respective teams and they would have lost. LSU just happened to have the best defense in college football. He missed a game, so what? Does that make him less of a football player? He did everything except play offense and I bet Tyrann could have done that too. Can RG3 cover kicks? Can Luck strip sack people and recover for touchdowns?

And speaking of strip sacks, recovered and returned for 6.... How many times have you seen that happened by the same player this season? Tyrann did it alot. That isn't easy to do, much less multiple times in a season.
