You're absolutely right. They didn't even disguise the blitz. That's why it's such a head scratcher. I kept thinking that we were showing blitz to invite the screen, then we'd drop into coverage at the snap and snuff it out. Nope. This is an obvious statement, but John Chavis has forgotten more then I'll ever think I know about coordinating a defense. That's why it's so hard for me to understand how I could know they were going to run the screen based on the defense he called, but he didn't? I just don't even know what to say about that.
If only I was that lucky. I had to google it. Adam sandler is so unfunny. But I do have both limbs. I remember parts of it. It's likely Cs has this on blue ray.
Brett it could be part of the youth we have on this great team , has had their last bit of freshman edcuation , and are now ready for the SEC play . In a few other of my posts I have said this team has a bad habit , letting the other team score late in the game . This time it was Bama , and this time maybe just maybe they have learned . You have to play every second not just the minuites of the game . I am getting ready to watch this team , take off . They are ready to play SEC football, Oh yea Baby, they be ready !!!! GEAUX TIGERS !!!!!
Lets see, Bama 2 best WRs got injured before halftime, McCarron missed a wide open TD, a pass he hasnt missed all year, a fumbled punt return, and a fumble at the 10 yard line. These were all self-inflicting things that happen to Bama which had nothing to do with LSU. I would think that all adds up to playing a below average game. Bama did play well against the run, giving up 3.4 ypc isnt bad. Mett just played the game of his life and Bama couldnt do anything about it. LSU gave Bama its best shot, it just sad that the coaches had to screw it up for them at the end.
That's about the best way to lose I can think of. This Alabama team for years will remember how lucky they were to escape with a win.
No they won't. It'll be how "great" McCarron was down the stretch. Not how they were gifted a win. You're expecting far more humility than they can muster.
