One web-site you'll see a crunch on is the Rivals site, Bamaonline. Their info has been coming from 3 different people on the staff...those people are currently carrying pink slips around save one...who is now in the NE coaching.

We'll see how much information is killed over the next few months...while Saban doesn't (or isn't known to) release a lot in the media, information coming out of the Athletic Dept. hasn't "slowed down" since his arrival.

What you will see is those that have, in the past, shared things openly on public forums stop doing so...only because if they did, those pipelines would dry up. I've seen that happening already.

Bastrop DT LaMarcus Williams switched his commitment to Ole Myth from Bama. Sources say that Saban might have actually nudged him to switch after saying he was going to honor all of Shula's recruits.

Is he lacking the size that Saban wants on the DL?

and this would drive Saban nuts if it were to continue. He is a control freak and had everyone in the athletic admin. building walking on pins and needles for 4 years. If the leaks keep geting out, expect to see a lot of turnover in football ops at least.

Just as an example...players talk to their high school coaches...those coaches are in a pretty tight league in the state.

Like I suggested, I expect the info to continue to come out, but you won't see it publically.

Some "info outlets" are already out in the cold...the rivals site being one of them that haven't been black-balled, but the door has been virtually closed. In other words, they are going to have to work for their info if they expect to release any...which, is something they haven't done, or attempted to do, in years.

Not to disprove or insult your source, Salty, but Luther Davis has sort of spoiled it for me about truely believing a recruit to have told Saban "no" and then to hear that Saban left in a pissy mood.

Hell, I'm starting to believe Saban is telling them to say that to throw everyone off.

Do you mean there has been a purge by Saban already?

Davis' big brother wasn't a star at LSU though.

And here we may have the hammer meeting the nail. This is quite possibly the reason why we are getting different reports from the LSU side vs the bammer side. Its quite possible Satan is having the gumps put out mis-information in order to keep the heat off. This sounds exactly like something Satan would scheme up. Dont underestimate this bastage at all. If he's been able to make the supposed in-roads on these recruits in just a few weeks, I hate to think what he is capable of doing over the long haul. Lets see just who he ends up getting but I think Miles is gonna have to work the staff extra hard to counter this mutha.
