I took this article as an attempt by a Bama fan to claim the national championship when LSU wins because "Saban built the foundation" and "still loves LSU". Baloney. All coaches have a better perspective on rivalries than the fans do, but to think that Saban takes it easy on LSU is non-sense. It's not in the nature of the man, or in the nature of any other championship coach, Miles included. That's why Miles has no interest in scheduling Michigan and may be why he wasn't too excited to play OkSt. When LSU wins this title, it will be because Miles rebuilt the foundation through the 09 & 10 seasons, not because Saban was ever here. Therein lies his demon. It is as if somewhere in the bayou, a witch doctor of sorts, has a lock of his hair pinned to a doll and that doll is dressed in purple and gold. What a stupid article by someone that doesn't have a clue. Saban could care less about LSU and Louisiana. He's not the kind of person that looks back or has much in the way of feelings for anyone he has left behind.
I really like this post but unsure about what is meant with the same passion. I hope voodoo is at work here, I think it is great if he is getting pinned every time he plays LSU. I would love it and we all would if he continues to lose to LSU and that becomes his achilles heel. Lets face it, Saban doesn't have a very good bowl record or record vs LSU so far. Edit: Someone needs to make a pin and a shirt with someone in purple and Gold pinning Saban's butt! That would be great!
