Nothing to do with it ... Saban won't kick that kid off the program because he's the PROGRAM rusher for the next three years ... which would be akin to cutting off his own kneecaps ... he'll punish the guy internally ... watch ... Reason: He knows what happens if he runs the guy off (with regards to his recruiting) ... Use your head man ... it's like baseball ... 3 strikes and you're out, not 1 strike and he's out ... NO ROBBERY/NO RAPE ... M I S S D E M E A N O R yOO KNOW mISS DEMEANOR ... If he toasts this kid, then he toasts him chances at #1 recrutiing classes because he shows ZERO FORGIVENESS AND kids THAT ARE GONNA BE KIDS gonna be kids and they gonna party AND THEY WON'T GO TO BAMA ...
Like I said, I know he won’t kick the kid off the team, I was being facetious. I just didn’t like the judgment being passed on CLM for "his" kids testing positive. Please pass the same judgment (if you wish) on to every coach, including Saban for what "his" kids fall for.
Not many people outside our fan base know who Ware and/or Simon are, really. The "average" fan, in other words. If you want to test my theory, name me three starters on OU's defense and tell me the name of their best receiver. People know THEIR team but on other teams- other than a few players here or there- they don't.
Lsu lost 3 starters off the number 1 team in the country, that is why it is big news. If out would have been Richardson and 2 of their stud LB's then that would have gotten just as much press.
Sheriff: Man admits sex with dog | TuscaloosaNews.com This was a very weird news article about an Alabama fan who likes to have sex with a dog named Lady. Maybe he thought it was a lady? Not to hi jack the thread, here is my thought on the topic: The media template is that Les is an idiot, so, anything that happens that reinforces the template will get amplified by the media. The media template is that Saban is the best college fb coach that ever lived, so anything that happens that contradicts this template is ignored or minimized by the media. Paul Finebaum's media market is in the heart of Crimson Tide country, so, there's no way that he won't bash Les every chance he gets.
Actually... LSU's players did not get as much coverage as Oklahoma and Alabama. edit: That's also because they unfortunately killed themselves.
sure did, my favorite college football page is Rivals/Yahoo Sports, and if you look at the headlines on the right, one of them is: "Alabama RB Calloway arrested for drugs" College Football on Rivals.com - NCAA Football, NCAAF News, Scores, Standings, Rumors and if you go to ESPN's college football page, and look at their headlines on the right, one of them is: "Tide RB Calloway charged with drug possession" NCAA College Football Teams, Scores, Stats, News, Standings, Rumors - College Football - ESPN
