Thank you. You put it the best. Now it is the lead on ESPN Sports Center.

It's so much better to just say when you're wrong and move on. I've been trying to teach Nootch that.

Personally, I think he's getting a bad wrap and there's a lot of overreaction. All that's missing was for him to say "Black Monday" and have Jessie and the gang headin to Bama.

He was saying his team should respond and hitting bottom. Let's face it, unless saban pulls a callahan, bama should be at the bottom. The media were looking for a reason to jump on sabam, this should not be it.:miles: :geaux:

As Saban often says, "It is what it is"

He has developed a solid "Brand" or some would call it a "Reputation" for controversy in College in College Football. He states publicly his dislike of the media. He is a control freak. And he's a good football coach. It will be interesting to see how his tenure at Bama unfolds. I don't see the national media letting up on him ever.

I'm gonna be neutral on this one. I've come to see many things about Saban I do not like. I also know LSU football is what it is because he was here. We were a good program under Cholly Mac, my hat is off to him. After him, we were pretty much mediocre, a few good years, a few too many bad ones. Nick took us to the very top of college football. Les has taken us even further. I know Saban has his faults, but while he was here, he did us very well. What happens to him from here on out is really none of our concern. He made his bed, he has to sleep in it. I thank Nick Saban for what he did for our program. Now is the time to turn our attention to Les Miles and the LSU TIGERS!

The vast majority of people understand what his point was, and they still think it was completely inappropriate.

Fire him for that remark? Unbelievable. It must be a slow news day for the media.
