You are not following my IF JL is broke line of thought. Would CLM put in a broken QB ? nope

Would he put in a QB that has had a complete year in the system with amazing talent vs a guy that has fallen off a cliff.

I agree 100% that JJ will play every snap unless he gets hurt or the game has moved to point that LSU needs pts and it just is not happening with JJ.

 

Les is going to play his senior qb's in the biggest game of his career not a junior college transfer with less than 15 minutes of game time aginst an sec defense.

I am no jj fan at all but I know he will play all game aginst bama. You don't see me saying jj shoudnt play or becase of his piss poor performance in the first half of the ga game that he should sit. You are just as full of anti jl sentiment as the person with the worst sentiment of jj is. You are the flip side of the coin. Just as you say some want to see jj fail, you seem to want to jl fail. Actually he has failed in your mind already.

I just want to see us beat bama and turn the page on all of this qb bullchit. Your jj bias has come out in force but you're too blinded to see it. Sorry , that's howit definately looks.

I understand where Cliff is coming from. Try this -- JJ gets hurt, JL goes into the game. JL gets rattled by Hightower and throws a pick or two like he did the first game. Do you think Miles will continue with just a running game or do you think he'll put in Mett so we can at least make them think we're going to throw it? Mett can hand the ball off just as good as JL so, in this scenario, why not Mett?

If I were Miles, I'd be giving Mett equal reps with the twos but then, I'm sitting at a computer making a fraction of what Miles makes.

Lee threw two interceptions aginst bama. This is a fact. Before that he beat 8 teams with 6or 7 of them ranked. He did so posting the highest offensive numbers lsu has seen since Matt flynn left. He had espn and the like talking about how good lsu's offense was and many of you that blast him now were on the jl bandwagon. He led us aginst uo, wvu , a then ranked miss state, fl , tenn, and au posting the highest qb efficency rating in the sec. He throws two interceptions aginst bama, after throwing only one aginst state before then and posting 1200+ yards passing, and now he's chit. Now he's aworthless Obama. The same guys that said true fans don't talk bad about players in reference to jj are the ones chitting on lee. Jj may be the starter now but our offense doesn't look as good and crisp as the offense ran by lee in the begining of the year. Jj may have won the job back but lee was never given a chance at redemption. Never.

Here's my thing with Lee. He did what he was asked to do in the first 8 games. The reason we score so many points is because we have a fargin stable of running backs, a good O Line, and a defense and special teams that not only score points themselves but put opposing teams in really bad situations.

Miles was probably thinking to himself that he needed to get JJ all the reps he could because there was a chance at us playing Bama again. Jarrett Lee has had 4 chances to play well against Alabama, and he hasn't with the exception of a touchdown pass his freshman year, and a big gain to RR last year deep in our own territory. That's really it. Jefferson missed 4 games and alot of reps. I think most of us who are sticking with JJ aren't doing it because we think JJ is awesome, in fact quite the contrary. I love that Lee got to play this year, and did what he was asked, good for him, but Jarrett Lee just has no business playing against Alabama. That defense is too fast, and too strong, and will have him in the fetal position after the 3rd or 4th snap.
