Saban Bama vs Miles LSU - what we can expect

It worked in the 1st half but Chief adjusted and shut it down.

I agree our D will be the rock on which we stand however we can't rely on them totally.

If Saban only prepares for JJ it may bite him on the ass. Remeber last year when JL came in and hit a critical 3rd down to RR. Les as much as he is disparaged for his use of JL has put him in in critical situations where one shot is needed and JL can stand in for a few plays.

Again don't forget ST they are so important to the ebb and flow of the game (as they weree Nov 5).

Finally prepareation and in game adjustments will be so important and another place I believe we are better than the Gumps and with the D are why we will win Jan 9.

 

Many folk are all in agreement that Saban will out prepare Les for this game. Nothing in the history of Nick proves that he will out coach Les in this bowl game. A bowl game it is based on the 4 week break plus before we play the BCSNCG.

Les seems to be a wizard in getting teams ready for the 1st game of the year - hey Duck ! - and the Bowl match-up.

Nick will do what Nick does and it is a given what Bama will bring. LSU has many more pages that we can open to what this team can bring to this game.

Keep reading the Nick walks on water material and I will keep my faith in Les and his staff.

 

I believe this will be the case. We have soooo many different playmakers. I know Lacy is good, but they rely on TR so much that he will be worn out by the end of the third quarter along with their linebackers.

JJ we will see JJ

Like Davey , JJ will give us a few exciting plays , but he will also give us a few if his JJ plays . Will the few exciting ones be enough to win this game ??
I know a lot are looking for History in this game . LSU wins the NCG game with , well I am not sure that will happen . I have 250 reasons for hoping it does but I am not sure I have a good choice . The 1st half against Georgia , looked bad , you cannot tell me LSU was not ready to play .One or two catches and LSU would be in the Music City Bowl .
Bama has the depth to play 60 minuites where Georgia did not . You know that and so do I and the rest of the football world knows that . Les knows this , Saban knows this . If Miles does nothave a secert that he has kept hidden this season , this could be a long afternoon for you and me . Then Tidefans.com will invite us in so we can tell them how great their Bama team played . LOL they may even let my cousin Bobby Joe in again he is a Bama fan . He did agree that gator tail was sweet , but never said anything about bama being a better team or LSU not being a good team , just that Bama has to prove that they belong .
That came from a Bama fan , if he feels that way . Don't you think the Bama team feels the same way ?? He said it was the greatest game he had ever seen . He is proud of his Bama team even after they lost to LSU . He said no disgrace in losing to a great LSU team, it would have been if we lost to Vandy .
I look for Bama to play all 4 quarters like Georgia played the 1st half of the 1st quarter ,. I think our team can win this game , but they are going to have to play the best game of their life to win !! If we get two TD's early we can not let up. To let up would give Bama the comeback Mojo, . I would like to hear my cousin say

" Miles ran up the score . Just wait till next year !! "

This is what I want , Bama will come out swinging , they are going to try to knock us out in the 1st 10 minuites of the game ! JJ I hope you have fun , if you do, then I will win my 14th game this season also !!

Just another note of what might happen in the game but of course nothing close to what will happen.

I am sure CLM will look at this game close to the same as the Cotton Bowl. Facing one of the best rush D's in A&M they did a great job of getting JJ ready for that game with just a couple of basic reads and JJ did well.

I see the same plan for Bama but Bama has the BEST rush D I have ever seen.

The what if I have in my brain will just not go away. What IF JJ just can't make it happen.

Does a broken JL get in the game or your starter for 2012?

Mett got all the 2nd unit snaps for most of the season and he can move in the pocket and has a gun ready to go.

I hope that JJ repeats the Cotton Bowl but I have concerns and when the 2nd QB comes in I will be watching to see if it is JL or Mett.

 

If jj gets hurt you will see Jl come in. Only if jj gets hurt will he be out of the game. Miles will lean on his senior qb's with so much at stake.

we have no facts to stand on with what has happened with JL since the Bama game

No one knows if JL is in a mental state to play QB for LSU right now or on Jan 9th.

 

I just believe that jj will play the entire game unless he's hurt.
If jj gets hurt I believe jl will play before mett does.

Which one do you think miles plays aginst the best defense in the nation? Does he play his rookie back up with no big game experience in the bcsnc game or does he play his senior with wins this year over 7 ranked teams?

Why does this not seem logical to you? Do you have interior motives or a bias involved clouding your judgement on this? Why not play your second string senior if your starter goes down? No , let's play a third sting qb with absolutely no sec big game experience in the title game aginst the best defense in America and our greatest sec rival. I got it.
