I hear this on Fixed News every night, but the fact is, every incumbent after Reagan loses in a poll to an unnamed canidate, once a real canidate, with real weakness comes along, it's a whole different game.
Obama won't be running against a candidate, he'll be running against an unemployment percentage measured against what the voters think it should have been.
i am with red on the electiopn, i cant see obama losing. at least not until one of the new york mayors makes a move.
You won't get any because it doesn't exist. You'll receive the typical "double standard" response with a link taking you to Google. I think EVERYBODY knows there's no substance to Obama's rhetoric...it's just some can't admit they're wrong or ever believe a Republican can be better than a Democrat. GOD help us if this administration remains another four years. Jimmy Carter may officially move up to second worst ever.
That is where living in New York has tainted your view. Liberals like LaSalle are disenfranchised and unmotivated to run to the polls. Obama's "Hope and Change" mantra is seen by everyone as the biggest bullshhit marketing ploy in history. The dumb-ass masses have realizes that even with Obama, they still have to pay their bills and won't be running to the polls. The only people motivated are the Republicans and independents and they won't be able to drive to the polls fast enough on the morning of Nov 6, 2012.
you may be right. of course, i think obama was elected primarily because he is the only blacl(ish) politician in american history that is articulate. and that means that not only will every black person vote for him, but so will every white liberal. and perhaps now that a black man is elected, the white liberals can move past their guilt and vote based on actual principles. but unfortunately if they do that, their liberal principles still hold and they will vote for the liberal incumbent regardless. so, if obama was running again for the first time, and he wasnt the first black president, i think he would lose. but he is an incumbent, so he automatically gets all the votes of the left and the blacks. and the fact remains that even if obama is weak, it doesnt matter if ever republican is a total ****ing idiot, which they are, at least until bloomberg or giuliani run.
The way I see it, it's a lose lose situation. a vote for Obama is a vote for the Republican party. A vote for a Republican is a vote for extreme right wing neo cons. Either way this country is screwed.
