It seems he had overly high expectations of how official visits should go. According to his Aunt, the rumors of mom having a "bad" visit are false. She did feel he needed to go to Bama because she thought that's where he would be most happy. Apparently Bama visit wasn't all he thought it would be. Sounds like the visits were fine, but he had unrealistic expectations.
Also, Miles visited with Mom as well to clear somethings up. Was sold a bill of goods at Bama, i wouldnt be surprised if he signed with Bama though.
So wait a minute - Pettway still has charges from beating a fellow Gump hanging over his head and he's back on the team? Or were the charges swept under the rug? Either way, what a horrible precedent to set. I'm sure the student he beat the shit out of is feeling great about this. Whatever it takes to win, I guess.
