If, emphasize if, it is true that Kiffin had Jackson avoid announcing on NSD so that Myles would sign with the mountain gumps and true that Myles is angry about this, could this present an opportunity to void his commitment letter? Might he have a legal right to void it? Seems to me that if all this is true, then his "contract" was obtained under false pretenses. Tennessee might not fight too hard to keep him given the NSD debacle they've already endured. If LSU was Myles second choice then the Tigers should pursue this. If nothing else it would cause Tenn further discomfort and shine a light on Kiffin's cockroach tactics.
I read somewhere he was on a radio show and said he was trying to get out of his UT LOI... I believe he'll be able to get out of it if he can somehow prove he was duped into it.
imo, lsu needs to stay out of it. pursuing it would look like sour grapes and meddling. whatever happens, let the vols and kiffie implode on their own.
Kiffin sounds more and more like a jerk. I was starting to think Al Davis was senile, but I now think he vascilates between senility and sanity, and he was SANE when he fired Kiffin. Raiders improved rapidly without him, but then Dolphins improved rapidly without Saban and he's done well at Bama. If Kiffin duped Myles into signing with Tenn., it will get around. I prefer our guy. I agree with Okie, we should stay out of it, unless Myles wins his release on his own.
Unless Myles goes public with this I tend to believe it is a rumor. Kiffin would have to be unbelievably stupid to try to trick one of his own recruits. Some said Myles liked LSU a lot, but didnt want to come if Loston AND Jackson were coming. Would sure be interesting to know the truth about Kiffin and Myles. Al Davis may be a lot of things, including a terrible guy to work for, but he's not a liar. His comments about Kiffin are telling.
