He'd go there to dip California into the sea, not to start for the Lakers. Kobe would be upset and demand He would traded anyway.

Concerning this so called commitment to UT by Perilloux:

There was never a commitment in the first place. It was all rumor that leaked out and now he has squashed it.

Texas leads. LSU is still in the running. He is coming to LSU this week for camp.

    End of story.

Supposedly this is what he said:

"If I go to LSU, it will be a plus for them but if I go to Texas it will be a great opportunity."

Take it for what it's worth.

The Ryan Perilloux sweepstakes could be even bigger than what it appears to be on the surface.

Ryan says that he and Fred Rouse are best friends and that he expects wherever he goes, that Fred will follow.

Fred Rouse is currently the #1 rater receiver on rivals.com and #4 overall rated recruit, higher than that of Perilloux. Rouse is 6'3" with a tremendous 40" vertical and a 4.4 40. He compares himself to Randy Moss.

So it's possible LSU may try and get Rouse to come here first, and then Perriloux falls into out lap as a package deal. But of course that's if these 2 boys are really joined at the hip as RP says they are.

    Perhaps a rumor, but

The other rumor is that MB has sent a welcome to the team email. :usaflagwa

Yeah that's the most hilarous part of the whole thing.

Here is how I perceive the email went:

    Dear Ryan,

I am happy you chose Texas. I am too busy to call you right now, so I thought I would be considerate in sending you a message to your yahoo email address. I hope you receive it, as I am not even sure if you still have that account.

    Thanks very much,

    Mack Daddy Brown
