Well if he indeed does go to UT, I hope he will like sharing duties at QB with Vince Young.

Mack Brown has already stated he will again employ the 2 QB situation. Vince Young cannot be happy. Chance Mock is delighted I am sure.

I gotta admit it bothers me when a family says that they prayed on it and some devine intervention has told them that their kid should go to a particular school.

I saw on a Longhorn board where I post that he has cancelled his visit to LSU this Sunday. Any truth to that? If so, It doesn't look very good for you guys.

It's just a very interesting choice to me. Here is his best prognosis for playing time:

    a) He redshirts as a freshman while Vince Young plays as a Junior
He shares time as a redshirt freshman with Vince Young as a Senior

    OR

    b) He shares playing time as a true freshman and as a sophomore with Vince Young

    OR

    c) He reshirts and then does not see hardly any playing time as a redshirt freshman
    He starts as a sophomore

None of that would seem appealing to me with the credentials of this kid.

Vince Young will not develop enough to warrant leaving early as a Junior next year. He will play all 4 years.

Vince hasn't improved at all. He isn't any better than he was in high school. He is one of the best high school QB I've seen; however, his talent has gone to waste. Slack Brown is a mouth piece and says all the correct things. He's a loser.

I couldn't agree more, how Brown gets these kids to buy his snake oil I just can't understand. If you want to underacheive as a player Texass is the place to be without a doubt. :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis:
