Yeh I read it last night. He said "Maybe if he went to Texas his life would have been different" and "He was surrounded by bad influences at LSU"
I didnt get the impression he blamed anyone but himself but his decision to go to LSU wasnt the reason he is where he is at. He has no one to blame but himself.
He could have been something and last year and this year would have been a different story I think.
It was an interesting read. They said he is doing very well in the position.

What would LSU have done had Perrilloux gone to Texas? Hell Ryan, there should be a article about the LSU nation to Ryan, "We wish you would have gone to Texas too!"

Kind of makes you wonder, Miles must have known Ryan was a lock because he sure put all his eggs in that basket.

I am guessing he may be implying his proximity to his "old buddies" that was the issue. However I don't buy it; he may just carry on in his same old ways even in Texas, hanging out with the crowd that shares similar values.

Hopefully he turns over a new leaf from the costly lesson of being kicked out of the LSU program.

No Casinos in Austin. No Derrick Odom either. Man speaking of talent wasted.

Don't forget all those bad influences over at Jacksonville State too.

That was the gist of it really was he was surrounded by his old friends at LSU and had he gone to Texas maybe he could have left that behind.
I dont buy it, but just stating what he said.

I think that whether UT or LSU he would have had the same issues, it was in his nature. He needed to be brought down in order for him to realize that just because he has an unbelievable talent he isn't going to be excused from being a decent person.

Somehow all of the other 75 kids or so manage to behave and be mature on a daily basis....
