i hope so. I think Sheppard is going to be an outstanding force at middle linebacker this year, but fortunately he's got the ability to play outside or middle, so we got that goin for us.
Yes. 6 weeks. Again, if he heals up well it may speed up the recovery. At least it happened a couple weeks prior to the start of the season. So if it's 6 weeks from today, he's just missing a few games and not a bulk of the schedule.

i may be missing something, but he broke his jaw, right? :huh: it's not like he broke a leg, an arm or an ankle. i wouldn't think he'd be out too long at all. but obviously i don't know much.
