This is the only reason, and it makes perfect sense. Shepard will play.

Shepard can add a lot of offensive threat by serving as QB, running back or as receiver. He ought to start asap in order to prepare him for SEC football, ya'll! Miles ought to find a way to play him in one position or another-even on special teams running back kicks!

MLU, Randle was maybe in on 2 plays, Loston played special teams and Downs probably needs to start in place of Alexander. But that will never happen.

Gotta admit, your comeback was pretty strong and your logic was impeccable. I am sure you convinced a lot of people otherwise.

Not worry. I share your observation that many more talented, younger players seem to be benched in favor of Seniors. Look no further than Chad Jones sitting in favor of Curtis Taylor last season as the most glaring example.

They do get playing time, though. They're just not going to get a lot...

Well Chad Jones is turning out to be quite bad. So maybe not a great example there.

this is exactly why shep didn't see the field. the game plan fell apart and didn't have a plan b for shep.

How many plays LSU ran doesnt matter one bit, Shep should have played. Even if he was just used as a decoy. LSU needed a spark, that was obvious. Shep could have provided that or if used a decoy allowed someone else to get open.
