Very very good running the football. He has good vision, understands the cutback, good speed, etc. However, he won't be able to run around in the backfield all day in college because the athletes chasing him will be far superior. If he can throw and read defenses he will be good in college.
Well, it's important to remember that, as much as we all want an NFL caliber passer at QB, you don't NEED one to be a great QB in major college football. Charlie Ward, Eric Crouch, Antoine Randle-El and Tommie Frazier are names that come to mind. A more recent example is Juice Williams (and the kid is only a sophomore I believe). He dominated tOSU's defense at times with his legs only. Speaking of tOSU, Troy Smith! The ability to scramble and "make things happen" is very important.
