Me, too. I got a good natured ribbing from some of my students at school, but I readily admitted LSU got beat fair and square, it was over and done with, and that I was looking forward to Spring ball when Mettenberger and Gunnar Keil at QB, plus we have some great potential at that position for the first time in a long time. With the players returning on both sides of the ball, we have a chance to repeat in the NCG.:geaux:
Good luck with ALL of that. I am sure the GM's of the NFL cannot WAIT to get a hold of his 240 yards of offense per year. Can you imagine him going across the field and Palamalu or Ray Lewis is there waiting for him. good lord. He could die. Oh well he was a very passionate tiger and was solely responsible for getting several key players. He never panned out like many of us had hoped but you cannot deny he loved LSU and was its biggest fan.
That's a shame. I really liked the guy and hate to see him make such a mistake. Oh well. He can reconsider by a certain date right?
He has been a leader and a team player, I wish him luck in the NFL if he makes it. He has a LOT to improve upon if he plans on sticking to an NFL team
I like Shep but he never came close to the hype of his recruitment. I hate our passing game and how underutilized our receivers are but when he did get some balls thrown his way, he blew a lot of opportunities. Has a lot of work to do with route running and catching. I really can't see him drafted higher than the 6th round. He definitely needs another year but I guess he feels it wouldn't make much of a difference. Best of luck to him.
That's just dumb. Hope he likes playing for league minimum, he hasn't done anything to show he deserves the big money.
