Just a question as I am sure that Shepard will be fine out there up to 1/2 the time but didn't you post in a thread earlier this week about how Jefferson needs to stop taking so many hits.... even though Jefferson is both taller and larger than RS?
I think RS did a great job last night. He is definitly fast for sure. I cant wait to see more of this kid on the field. He has a promising future no doubt. Yeah, he did get piled drived by Vandy but jumped up and was ready to go again.o: I look at as a good learning experience..lol
if he keeps alluding folks he is gonna get lose for a big gain. like james joyce, he is the master of allusion. some folks think i am a looser for my literary references, but i could care less.
That first time he got "tackled," I thought the guy was gonna do some sort of WWF helicopter move...welcome to the SEC
I know he fumbled so thats probably what kept him from getting more touches. I know he carries the ball a lil too non-chalantly. Despite that the kid needs more touches. Plain and simple Shepard is far too dangerous and explosive to be on the bench. His versatility is the key. Being he could play QB, RB, and WR he could and should be in the game more often. He is a big play waiting to happen. His shiftyness is definitely Harvin esque. Id like to see him get some of the touches Holliday gets. He is nearly as fast, but far more shifty. There is no reason Shepard shouldnt be getting 5-10 touches per game. In time Miles will have to trust him to throw the ball so that defenses dont stack up when they see him enter the game.
