hes gonna be fun to watch. wont be a percy harvin given his slight 160 lb build but he can be a difference maker.
Didnt someone say he was 230lbs? There is no way. He is damn slippery and looks like he can become a great player but that one tackle was scary. I would hate to see him hit like that by Brandon Spikes or Rolondo McClain.
He got his bell rung pretty good on that first run. When he lined up at wide receiver, he was shaking his head trying to shake it off. After the fumble, he was stil trying to shake it off. Had he gotten a chance to recover form that first hit, I doubt he fumbles on his next play with the ball. It's quite obvious that he's a special player. How nice is it that we have two more games for him to get going against before the meat of the schedule starts!
He's listed at 188 lbs. I too was impressed by his quick feet. Seems to be a step faster than anyone else on the field.
I agree. When I watched the replay you could see it was a fumble waiting to happen. This is just inexperience though. He could do those things in high school and it wasnt a problem. Completely different situation at this level. Im glad we have the next two weeks against cup cakes because Shepard needs to get used to being hit at the college level in game conditions. He was throttled really hard a couple times and looked a little stunned.
