Working on getting some details but doesn't look good on paper. However, it may not be as bad as it seems. I believe he moved off campus this summer. If that is the case, LSU caught it early and no ineligibility while playing in games. Plus he is not suspended at this time. Might take some time to get all the details.
As long as it doesn't come back to bite LSU in the ass with sanctions, and probation etc. I'm fine with it. To be honest I'm still not sold on Shepard as a number 2 receiver, and think he could go down as one of the biggest recruiting busts we have seen in a long time, not because he hasn't produced some, but because of the hype surrounding him when he was in High School.
All this negative press is going to give us a black eye regardless of the outcome. My text alert is going crazy on my phone right now.....it's my Bama buddies. :angryfire:angryfire:angryfire
At SEC media days most have said that they expect Shep to play in the Oregon game that is the general feel Randy and others have received. Maybe just a minor thing that needs to be resolved to remain eligible. Well at least I hope so.
I don't like to hear about issues dealing with "off-campus housing arrangements" because usually that means one thing - someone is paying for his housing. Kinda like with Reggie Bush. I hope it clears up.
No. The Reggie Bush fiasco was something crazy like a $300K house bought for his parents by an agent while he was at USC. Granted, we don't know the details yet, but from what bhelm is saying vs the Reggie Bush thing.....they are in different solar systems, broseph.
