Only reason Miles didn't start JJ earlier, is he didn't want JJ thrown in so soon. Once JJ had the grasp of the Offense, it was all she wrote. I promise you, Miles loves JJ, or else he wouldn't be on the team.
Our coaches aren't in love with the talent of every player on the team. Is JJ currently one of those? Possibly, but it doesn't seem likely. Was he one of those? Probably, IMO. I don't think Shepard was lied to, as I don't think Miles was lying when he repeatedly said that JJ wasn't ready early in the season. Things change, Jefferson showed improvement.
LSU has a special early signing period allowed by the NCAA because Myles Brand loves LSU and wants us to be the best. It's a pretty good deal. In all seriousness, I wonder if he has a scholarship for this semester and if he does, is it a football scholarship. How does that work?
I understand he's not signing a letter of intent but that would mean to me that he can't sign a football scholarship either. So my question was, do they work out a deal where he gets an academic scholarship, is there no scholarship for the first semester, or does he just not pay and then his scholarship comes through in Feb and all is forgiven?
I don't see why he couldn't sign a football scholarship. It more than likely has a stipulation that he must play football for LSU, therefor if he bolts before signing his LOI it would be void. Just a guess though.

They don't call Les the "Mad Hatter" for nothing. The things that come out of his mouth and roll around in his head is anybodies guess. What he feels about JJ or Shep for that matter only he knows. But we still love him. :milesmic::insane::huh:
