I am excited about Shep and anxious to see him out there, but I feel bad when people write JJ off so quickly...He is also very good and could be our QB of the future, but I'm not opposed to either of them in any way.
Yep. Definitely making the Spring game this year. If the Tigers nab Debose and Randle, the offense is going to be awesome in the years ahead.
I don't write JJ off in the least. But he has stiff competition coming up soon. And that can only make JJ better.
It can only make Shep better too.. Isn't it odd going from despising our QB situation to absolutely loving it in the span of a month or two?
I'm not loving our QB situation for next year. We'll still be dealing with inconsistencies there (although not as bad as this year). I feel we will have 4 QBs that could go on to be great players, but it won't happen overnight and only one can start at a time - and they're all very close to the same year.
Completely agree. I'm more excited about the quality depth we're going to have at the position. Between JJ, Shep, Hatch, Lee.. That should be 4 players we can count on in just about any situation. And that's not counting Garrett.
Maybe we can start teaching how to tackle, too - on both sides of the ball. That would certainly help the QBs.
