Not at all. He runs very reminiscent of Pat White. He is going to be a little bigger, but he is as you can see every bit as good an athlete. I'm straight yoked about this committment. :wave:
Is that one of the reasons he didn't go to UT because they weren't going to make him a QB? That's what I've heard at least.
From what I've seen, Shepard is the best athlete in the country - with the ability to be a far superior runner to Pat White.
UT didn't exactly tell him he wouldn't play QB, but they didn't make him feel like they were going to give him an honest shot at it either.
You aren't lying. He is most definitely the best PROSPECT in the country on top of that. His highlight reel is easily the best I have seen. Everything is just ridiculous. This is the type recruit I've been waiting for. I thought Perrilloux would be and he still has a chance, but this cat athletically speaking is on another level than any recruit in my recent memory. Joe McKnight was great, but he isn't anything like this cat, just being honest.
So uh..I know its kind of early to ask this but is he taking his other visits? I know he wanted to go to Michigan eventually. Just wondering.
I don't put much into the GF thing. Let's just put it this way, she wasn't close to being the first person to know about his committing to LSU.
