Parso, I have heard there is a chance we can get Sheppard, Lipscomb and McFarland as a group. What are your personal opinion on this actually happening. Also, is there another prospect that is related or good friends with one of these guys. If so who is it and what are our chances with that prospect? I have been hearing some rumors but you know more than just about anyone so I respect your answer.
Craig Loston is Shepard's cousin,a 4* Safety: http://footballrecruiting.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?pr_key=53993&sport=1 He's supposed to camp at LSU this summer. You have to figure LSU is sitting good with him now. I never understood how McFarland was ever rumored to be part of a package deal. Lipscomb and Shep I can understand.
is crazy how a 5* commits a top 10 player and its not on the front page of rivals recruiting that lets you know they are biased against LSU.
I don't mean to be the bearer of bad news, but he has a completion % of 40+%. Should we be worried? I know the videos are pretty, but if every 4th pass sails into the hands of a DB, it's all for naught. someone tell me I'm wrong.
Trust me, this Guy is the real thing...I would be worried, if he threw ducks, and Rainbows...This kid has a ARM.
This is what I have been posting. McFarland, Lipscomb AND Loston. All 3 may be part of this ginormous 4 man package. Shepard will be like having an extra recruiting arm in Texas. Good grief. My 4.18 might have been an undersell on my part. I apologize in advance.
Touching on what clair said, I think they'll give him a legit shot at QB but he's probably going to be ending up having a Percy Harvin-type role where there all sorts of ways to feed him the ball (at QB, WR, RB).
I don't know what exactly that means, but I just think that a 5-star, all-world LSU QB should complete more than 50% of his HIGH SCHOOL passes. and have more TDs than INTs in a sophomore season in HS. I don't care if he can throw it 1,000,000 yards. if there isn't a receiver out there, it don't mean anything. I know he is big and fast, but can they correct the accuracy problems?
