For those who want the quick lowdown:

He accounted for 538 yards (311 via the pass) and 6 TDs.

Simply remarkable performance on such a big stage.

Scored 20 points in a 9 minute span to tie it at 48 all with just under 2 minutes to go. They lost 55-48 on a last second bomb.

    Those are staggering numbers, islstl.

Actually the article says he ran for 311 yards!

"Shepard ran for 311 yards and three touchdowns. The LSU signee passed for 227 yards and three scores."

Wow, what a dissapointment for him to have such a big night and not get the W.

Glad to hear he performed so well though.

    Season stats:

    257 carries for 1947 yards 7.57 ypc 29tds

    115 of 211 for 1849 yards 54.5 completion percentage 18td 4int

I think its safe to say, he deserves to be the #1 player on Rivals or at least back in the top 3. He improved his passing game a lot this year. Hes arguably more polished than TP but with less physical height/arm.

I agree rivals.com went braindead when they demoted him to 8th.

He needs to be #1 or at worst #2. The kid from Cali probably sux just like the blond from Notre Dame.
