Which RB's do you think we will end up with? For instance, Seastrunk Lattimore Dyer Storm Parker Williams Of these guys the chatter seems to suggest we have the best shots at Seastrunk, Storm, Parker and Williams. Do we take 3 or just 2? Do you think the order that I listed all of these 6 guys is actually the way LSU has them ranked on their board? Considering some have the same style, like Storm and Parker, does taking one rule out another? There is a lot to consider. I just thought it would be fun to play coach for a day (no GM in college).
Lache and Storm is my prediction but say something happens that we are not aware of down the road such as the staff favoring another RB over him or Storm deciding to go elsewhere. My next guess would be Dontae or Parker. I like Dontae a little better. No way we can fit 3 in this class and I think the staff could settle for one if they had to but that won't be the case because we have guys like Storm, Dontae, and Parker really high on us. I don't think we have much of a shot at Dyer or Lattimore. I would put Lache, Dyer, and Lattimore in one group as the all around backs with great speed. And Storm, Dontae, and Parker as the next group as power backs. The staff would like to land one in each category IMO.
I guess the deal with LSU not getting Storm's commitment when expected has me wondering if we are waiting to see if we can get someone who we like better. I don't know that we ever saw Parker or Williams at a camp and wanted to make sure we didn't like them better than Storm even though conventional wisdom is that Storm is superior. I think Williams is more of an all around back than Parker, but I'm going to take the opposite viewpoint and say I favor Parker after watching the videos. The guy is a bull.
