Now.. if you want to talk about the play calls... I'd like to see him running the Read and Speed options less and maybe runs some QB draws like Jimbo used to run.
Agreed. You can't play that way. Besides, it was his choice (either by decision or by read) to keep it on those option runs/reads. He could have dished it off had he felt compelled to do so. And as far as the whole "only 2 scholly QB's bit"...granted, none of us have seen him play--let alone practice--but from everything I've read, Bret Bailey has the potential/ability to be a scholarship QB. The fact that he wasn't was more to do with #'s and the need to have scholarships filled elsewhere. With the departure of Garrett and Zach Lee, I wouldn't be surprised to see Bailey end up on scholarship.
