Rumors of a newly designed jersey next year

They certainly don't "look" like LSU. To do that, the uniform has to prominently display our trademark LSU yellow "gold," either gold helmuts/white wants, or white helmut/gold pants. I also do not like the stripes on the jersey, how they are just little patches like that. But at least we are just complaining about some special one-in-a-lifetime uniform, look what Tulane has to wear every single game. Yuck.

Please look past the uni arrangement for the Tulane game and see the intent. It was for the Katrina victims with Tulane taking the brunt in terms of institutions. They could have worn all purple with a gold question mark and it still would have been a great gesture.
Tulane has some class folks there. Every year here in SD there is an event called "Gator by the bay" and Tulane alum represent proudly. I gave them for their spirit a nice check. Wish it could have been more. :thumb:

 

I think they oughta wear the "phoenix/pelican" Logo on their jerseys, maybe opposite the "SEC75" patch. Then at the end of the year have an auction. far as that goes..."All" Louisiana teams should, including the Saints. It really looked pretty cool!
